Circular route St. Johann im Saggautal
After a short stretch on the road towards Arnfels, turn left into a valley (Koineggweg). This is where the ascent through the forest begins. Plenty of wild strawberries grow on the embankments. As soon as you reach the top, the path leads through vineyards and meadows. At the crossroads (beautiful view of the Koralm), keep left and follow the ridge. At Gartner, turn left again and follow the Ratzbergweg (highest point of the hike) to Gündorf. In the Saggau valley you hike back to St. Johann. There are many colorful sage and smooth oat embankments along this path.

Difference in altitude ca. 250 m

Blumenreichweg
The Blumenreichweg got its name from a project to make the roadsides in the South Styrian Wine Country Nature Park more attractive. The roadsides of selected municipal paths are given special care, resulting in roadsides that are strewn with colorful flowers. The starting point of the trail is the Gasthof Maurerwirt in Gündorf. The route first leads along municipal paths past the Buschenschank Klopfer (Glaserkeller) to Kohlberg and then along forest paths over the Kleingraben up to the Kreuzberg, the highest point of the circular hiking trail. From there, you follow local paths to the Klug wine tavern and from there through the forest down to the Kleingraben and back up to the Eichberg-Trautenburg area. The circular hike now follows local paths past numerous wine taverns down to the starting point in Gündorf

Heiligengeistklamm
Immerse yourself in a world of hops around Leutschach: but also hike through the Heiligengeistklamm gorge. Southern Styria is even beery! It's hard to believe, but when you see the hop poles around Leutschach, you will inevitably realize that not only wine but also hops thrive in Southern Styria. Anyone who has nevertheless traveled to Leutschach for the wine - after all, this municipality also bears the suffix “on the wine route” - will be amazed at the steep slopes on which the vines are cultivated in southern Styria during the hike through the Heiligengeistklamm gorge on the way back.
